These terms cover this website and the Prepstellar app for Android, iPhone and iPad, including subscriptions bought inside it. They are the Terms of Use (EULA) the app links to.
Who we are
Prepstellar is operated by Oriol Dellà i Soler (trading as «Prepstellar»), NIF 77623436T, Barcelona 08013, Spain. See the Legal Notice. By using the site or the app you accept these terms. If you don't, please don't use them.
What we offer
The website has information about Prepstellar and free sample lessons and practice questions from its courses. Nothing is sold on the website itself.
The app has study courses for IT certifications and tech skills: lessons, audio, practice questions, mock exams, spaced review and an AI tutor. The first part of every course is free. The rest of the catalog needs a subscription.
Accounts
You can use the app without an account. If you create one (email, Google or Sign in with Apple), keep your sign-in details to yourself; you're responsible for what happens under your account. A subscription can be used on up to two devices at a time. You can delete your account and its data at any time: see Delete your account.
Subscriptions
- One plan, two periods. A monthly or a yearly subscription unlocks the whole catalog. The price is the one shown in the app and in the store before you confirm, in your local currency.
- Payment through the store. You buy through Google Play or the App Store, and your account with them is charged when you confirm. Their own terms also apply to the payment.
- Automatic renewal. The subscription renews for the same period unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your store account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends.
- Cancelling. Cancel any time in your store account (Google Play: Payments & subscriptions; App Store: Settings, your name, Subscriptions). Uninstalling the app doesn't cancel it. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
- Refunds. Refunds are handled by the store under its own refund policy. We can't issue them ourselves.
- Price changes. If the price changes, the store tells you before it applies, and you can cancel before then.
- Right of withdrawal (EU and UK). Access to the paid content starts as soon as you subscribe. By asking for that immediate access you agree that the 14-day withdrawal period ends once it begins, as the law on digital content allows. This doesn't affect your rights if the service is faulty.
The AI tutor
The tutor answers your questions about the course material. Its answers can be wrong or incomplete, so check anything important against the vendor's documentation. Free users get a daily allowance of tutor uses that resets each day and doesn't carry over. Please don't use the tutor, comments or nicknames to post anything unlawful, abusive or personal about someone else; we may remove such content and suspend accounts that do it.
The waitlist
If you joined our waitlist on this website, we may email you once about the launch. Joining gave no right to the product, no reserved price and no guaranteed access. You can leave at any time by emailing support@prepstellar.com.
No promises about exams
Prepstellar is independent study material. We don't promise you'll pass any certification exam, and nothing here should be read as a guarantee of a result. Exams are set and scored by their vendors, who decide their own content, weighting and passing marks, none of which we control.
Other people's trademarks
Microsoft, Azure, Power BI, AWS, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, Databricks, Snowflake and dbt, along with their exam names and codes, are trademarks of their respective owners. We use them only to describe what our courses cover, which is nominative fair use. Prepstellar is not affiliated with, authorized by, or endorsed by any of them, and nothing here should be taken to suggest otherwise.
Our content
The text, design, logo, lessons, audio, questions and code of the site and the app belong to us or to our licensors. Your subscription gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to use them for your own study while it's active. Please don't copy, resell, scrape or republish them. The Archivo and Spline Sans Mono typefaces are used under the SIL Open Font License. You may link to us freely.
Availability
We'll try to keep the site and the app up, but we don't promise they will always be available or error-free. We update courses when exams change, and we may add, change or retire content. If we ever close a course you're paying for, or the whole service, we'll tell you in advance.
Liability
We provide the site and the app as they are. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, including your rights as a consumer, which stay intact.
Governing law
Spanish law applies. If you're a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your country of residence and may bring proceedings in your own courts.
Changes
We'll update the date above whenever these terms change, and tell you in the app if a change affects your subscription.
Apple devices
If you use the app on an iPhone or iPad, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies, alongside these terms. Apple isn't responsible for the app or its support; we are. Contact: support@prepstellar.com.
